I don’t know about you but wearing flip flops in November in DC is just not right. It’s hard to get into the pre-Thanksgiving spirit in a tank top no matter how awesome it is. And of course…mosquitoes.

I digress, what’s happening this weekend?

Our friends at the Rock and Roll Hotel were hit hard by the horrific events in Paris last week, the horror at the Bataclan rock club brought it close to home. They are holding a benefit for Paris Sunday beginning at 5pm. The House That France Built: An Evening of French House Music will begin on the roof deck of the club but will take over the whole building. DJs will be spinning French house music all evening. Entry is by donation ($5 minimum) and all those proceeds plus a portion of the bar sales will go to local charities in Paris.

Vive la France.
