
It’s almost the weekend and if I were you, I would make sure that I had enough toilet paper and milk on hand. I’m just yanking your chain– unless you’re planning to get food poisoning, you probably have enough toilet paper for the few inches of snow that we’re going to get. Trust me on this one.
Heads-up: I have made few friends complaining over the years about the March for Life, which leaves a trail of waste and idling buses and weaponizes Catholic youth as soldiers “for life,” which is an extremely reductive way of teaching children about a sad, complex and harrowing topic such as abortion. So, you know, the March for Life is happening tomorrow, so heads-up. Click here for traffic closures.
Movie suggestion for this weekend? Spotlight (2015) is a great film that’s not just endured the test of time (11 years already?!); it also helps you have faith in journalism and in standing up to corruption.
Incidentally, many of the events happening this weekend could be canceled at any moment because of the threat of inclement weather. Keep an eye on the Capital Weather Gang reporting.
