  • Suspect Sought in a Burglary Two and Credit Card Fraud Offense: 700 Block of 7th Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Burglary Two and Credit Card Fraud offense that occurred on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, in the 700 block of 7th Street, Southeast.
At approximately 4:00 pm, the suspect gained entry to a residence at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property and then fled the scene. The credit cards that were taken in this offense were used at local businesses.
The suspect was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos above.

  • Suspects Sought in an Armed Robbery (Gun) Offense: 700 Block of 7th Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying two suspects in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, June 26, 2021, in the 700 block of 7th Street, Southeast.
At approximately 5:21 pm, three suspects entered an establishment at the listed location. Two of the suspects brandished handguns. The suspects took property then fled the scene.

  • Arrest Made in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Pole) Offense: 100 Block of O Street, Southwest

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announced an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Pole) offense that occurred on Friday, June 25, 2021, in the 100 block of O Street, Southwest.
At approximately 5:57 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim with a pole then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers. The victim sustained minor injuries.
On Friday, June 25, 2021, 48 year-old Tommy Lee Wiley, of Newman, GA, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon.

  • Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 400 Block of Florida Avenue, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Saturday, June 26, 2021, in the 400 block of Florida Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 4:33 am, the suspect and victim were involved in an argument at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and discharged a firearm in the direction of the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.

  • Arrest Made in an Armed Robbery (Gun) Offense: 100 Block of 19th Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announced an arrest has been made in an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, in the 100 block of 19th Street, Southeast.
At approximately 1:00 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim’s property. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene.
On Wednesday, June 30, 2021, a 14 year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Armed Robbery (Gun).
This case remains under investigation.

  • Suspects and a Vehicle Sought in a Robbery (Force and Violence) Offense: 400 Block of 12th Street, Northeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects and a vehicle in reference to a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, in the 400 block of 12th Street, Northeast.
At approximately 12:19 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects then forcibly snatched the victim’s purse and fled the scene in a vehicle.
The suspect vehicle is described as a silver Nissan Rogue with North Carolina tags.
The suspects and vehicle were captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photos above and in this video.

  • Suspect Sought in a Burglary Two Offense of an Establishment: 200 Block of M Street, Southeast

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in reference to a Burglary Two offense that occurred on Monday, June 28, 2021, in the 200 Block of M Street, Southeast.
At approximately 4:15 am, the suspect entered an establishment at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene.
The suspect was captured by a surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo at left.
