What is a landmark people may know your SMD from?
My SMD includes the H Street Corridor, which many residents know for its vibrant arts and food scene. It’s a diverse area that reflects the cultural richness of our community.
Why are you running for ANC?
I’m running for ANC because I believe in the power of local government to create tangible improvements in our daily lives. Our neighborhood deserves a representative who is committed to listening to residents and advocating for issues that matter most to us—from public safety and affordable housing to transportation and green spaces.
Why do you believe ANC is an important office?
It’s the most direct line of communication between residents and city government. Commissioners help shape policies and development projects that directly affect our quality of life. It’s a grassroots role that empowers neighbors to have a voice in decisions that impact our community.
Why should your neighbors should vote for you?
I’m dedicated to being a responsive and proactive voice for our community. I’ve been a long-time advocate for sustainable growth and community-centered development. I’m running to ensure that everyone—long-time residents and newcomers alike—has a say in the future of our neighborhood.
