Duffy’s Irish Pub, 1018 H Street NE, will be opening bright and early 8 a.m. on Wednesday the 24th. According to a writeup from DCist last week, they will have “eight flat screen televisions hooked up to a stadium sound system to watch the notoriously tight-lipped Mueller speak to Congress, alongside a full menu and drink specials.” Duffy’s is also encouraging people to dress up, so let’s see those costumes, people!
Union Pub, 201 Massachusetts Avenue NE, will also be showing the hearing. From their press release,
Union Pub will open at 9:00 a.m.* (patio at 11:00 a.m.) on Wednesday, July 24th, 2019, and will have the Mueller Hearings on all TVs with sound. Full bar and kitchen service will be available.
