Community is what makes Capitol Hill so vibrant. Thank you to another wonderful Hill community, Summit to Soul, for tagging us on Instagram #thehillishome
The D.C. Story Circle, a community-building event to share stories with your neighbors and future friends, has been going strong since I first wrote about it back in August. It’s been great to see Ashley Quarcoo’s passion project resonate with so many people across different communities. The circle is back to Capitol Hill on Saturday, January 12 at noon. This time, the meeting place is in the heart of Hill East, at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 1636 East Capitol Street NE. The story topic this time around is “Giving Back to the Community.” Come prepared to talk about how you make Ward 6 a better place to live through your service and outreach.
If you want to be part of the story circle, make sure you register at www.dcstorycircle.com/
