Hey everyone! Looks like some uh, “weather” is on its way. Why do I use quotation marks? It could be because I am freaking out a little about Hurricane Florence and I am not alone. In election news, S. Kathryn Allen will not be on the ballot for at-large councilmember position, challenging Elissa Silverman. The DC Board of Elections and Ethics actually took a stand regarding the possibility that her petition signatures were forged to a large degree. Wow. WAMU

I went to my first game at Audi Field recently and absolutely loved it. Everything from the concessions (pupas! arepas!) to the good sightlines (with the possible exception of when a corner kick happens) to the thoughtful architectural details (you can see the pitch from the street!) is just lovely.
