Sure, some booths are shutting down like the facepainting for the kiddies, sponsored by H Street Connection, but there are still loads of acts playing and tons of food and drink still going strong. So come join us on H Street! You will be glad you did.
This year’s festival was amazing. I remember three years ago (three right?) during the first Fest, how small it was but also how vacant the streetscape was. Empty storefronts everywhere. This year was really impressive.
The H street fest brings such a diverse group of people together and to my eyes everyone was having a good time. It stands in the face of all of the post primary sniping about how divided the city is.
