Stop by the Southeast Library at 403 7th Street SE, this weekend for the Friends of the Southeast Library (FOSEL) book sale. The sale will run from 10am-3pm.

Entrance to the sale is through the library (and down the stairs) or through the basement door on the D street side.

The sale will have cookbooks as well as new and mostly used books of all types, including children’s books, fiction, best sellers, non-fiction, mysteries, science, science fiction, romance, religion, history, biography, self-help, classics, travel, etc.

There are great deals to be had as most hardbacks and paperbacks are only one dollar each, while coffee table books are two dollars and up. All proceeds benefit local libraries, including the Southeast Library and the DC Library.

If you want to donate books, they will accept up to one box per person at the sale. You can donate books without limit at other times by leaving them inside the D Street Door of the library during regular business hours or any time via the designated donation bin by the D Street library door. They ask that you NOT donate text books, magazines, foreign language books, encyclopedias, or outdated computer books.  CDs and DVDs are find but no VHS tapes or cassettes.
