Today in News You Can Use, Diet Be Damned: It’s #UberIceCream day!
That’s right: today, July 24, starting at 11 am and running until 5 pm, you can request ice cream via Uber, and it will arrive in all its creamy deliciousness. You just set your location and request ICE CREAM. If you are a Capital One customer, you get an additional perk: If you pay for your Uber-delivered ice cream with your card and use code SWEETDEAL, you get free ice cream. Clearly, you will be screaming about that. You can also vote for red, white or blue ice cream, because this is DC and everything is just a little political. At the end of the day, Uber will announce the winning party.
Here’s hoping your ice cream won’t arrive at the incorrect quadrant, then argue with you over the phone about being at the correct address even though you can see it blinking in the wrong place on the map as you watch the minutes melt away while you are later and later to your destination.
I digress, however. Everyone knows ice cream (possibly FREE ice cream) is awesome.
