Last week, I shared a reminder to go online to request your 2015 Visitor Parking Pass, which allows your guests from outside of Ward 6 to park on your street for longer than two hours without getting a ticket. If you got your new pass in the mail this week, you were likely a bit confused since it was a 2014 pass.
The Washington City Paper did some investigating and found out that about 3,900 incorrect passes were sent out. Ooops! DDOT says that it takes full responsibility and will ensure that everyone who registered for a 2015 pass will receive one by December 31.
Until then, your 2014 pass is valid, even though the expiration date states September 30,2014.
