Another round down, another round to go, shortly. But first, results!
We love to see those paragons of, ahem, “drinking establishment” awesomeness rise to the top: Dire is the fate of the establishment that has a license to sell alcohol and spirits who has to go up against the Tune Inn. In true fashion, the beloved dive on the House side of Pennsylvania Avenue annihilated its latest contender, Kelly’s Irish Times, by one of the wider margins in the whole competition so far. This year’s “Cinderella story” title goes to newcomer Joselito, who crushed Hill East anchor Trusty’s in a close race (We may go so far as to refer to them as the Xavier of our tournament). More race results: H Street pub The Queen Vic crushed 2015 winner Little Miss Whiskey’s handily.
