Your ANC single member district
6A01, “The Crown of 6A”
What is a landmark people may know your SMD from?
Our landmark is the FreshFarm Market every Saturday on 13th and H streets NE.
Why are you running for ANC?
I am running for commissioner here in 6A because I love my neighbors and I recognize the need for unity, public safety, youth engagement, and economic development in this community. We are a family of residents maintaining our pursuit of happiness.
Why do you believe ANC is an important office?
ANC is an important office in the regard of “Great Weight” as well as our ability to connect the dots. As current chairman of the ANC 6A Community Outreach Committee I’ve experienced a duration of collaborations in this village like no other. Hyper-local, thankless leadership in this city is extremely essential.
Why should your neighbors vote for you?
My neighbors should vote for me because I am willing to do the “boots to the ground” work as well as policy reform. I am not driven by my own personal goals, my community but rather the visions of the residents here. They should vote for me to put in place a connector of all elements and resources in this city that are well and good.
Why should we all keep an eye on Advisory Neighborhood Commissions as a whole?
Keep an eye on the ANC, the people [who] hold the key to betterment in the District.
