The Hill is Home is sharing the statements of ANC candidates in our general region. Although the main focus of our blog is Capitol Hill –served by ANCs 6A through 6C– we feel that a community is made stronger by the neighbors with whom we share a close geographical area. Thank you 6B10 residents. For the past four years, you’ve supported my efforts to improve the DC criminal justice system; increase oversight over DCRA, DPW, and DCPS; and hold DMPED accountable for actions taken regarding Reservation 13 and RFK Stadium.
My plan is to continue this work in 2019. I’ll continue to ask questions about why DCPS officials are not properly responding to sexual assault complaints. I’ll question DPW about the sustained decrease in parking enforcement. And, I’ll question DMPED about their persistent refusal to share information regarding the #ObviouslyDC #HQ #Amazon bid.
I’m asking these questions because we all have the right to live in a safe, transparent environment. Thank you for your continued support.
