You’ve seen the signs all over town, and you’ve likely had a door knock or run into a candidate on the streets — election season is upon us. Tomorrow night presents one of many opportunities to meet your mayoral candidates and hear a bit about where they stand on issues affecting the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Tomorrow night, from 7 – 8:30 pm, the Ward 6 Democrats will host Mayor Adrian Fenty and Chairman Vincent Gray in the North Hall of Eastern Market. The forum is open to the public and provides an opportunity for the Democratic mayoral candidates to discuss and debate issues important to the residents of Ward 6. The event will also include endorsement balloting, which will be limited to registered Ward 6 Democrats. The forum is open to all members of the community. So come out and start to get to know your candidates!
Who is moderating the debate and will they take questions from the floor or are they collecting beforehand? If so, do you know where to submit questions?
