Celebrate Women’s History Month at the National Museum of Women in the arts! There is a whole slate of programming starting March 1 with a special Community Day. Check it out here.
Make sure to check out their latest exhibit, titled Making their Mark. The exhibit, lovingly curated from an important collection in San Francisco, juxtaposes established and emerging women artists and is a great experience. Check out a reel I made about it here.
At the Martin Luther King, Jr. Public Library, the DC Public Library in collaboration with Nikole Hannah-Jones and The New York Times Magazine, is opening a new exhibit through March 15: Freedom and Resistance is an exhibit inspired by The 1619 Project, and it feels timelier than ever. Speaking of the Cherry Blossom Festival, the Waldorf Astoria has a really gorgeous Cherry Blossom decor and special cherry-themed high tea to celebrate the holiday.
