Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce an arrest has been made in a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Saturday, April 22, 2023, in the 700 block of H Street, Northeast.
At approximately 10:22 am, two suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects snatched the victim’s vehicle keys and then both suspects attempted to flee in the victim’s vehicle. The suspects were unsuccessful then fled the scene on foot. One of the suspects was apprehended by responding officers.
On Saturday, April 22, 2023, a 16-year-old juvenile male of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Robbery (Snatch).

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, April 24, 2023, in the 700 block of G Street, Southeast.
At approximately 2:54 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and started shooting towards the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. No injuries were reported.
On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, 41-year-old Johnathan Dawkins, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun).

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects in a Robbery (Force and Violence) offense that occurred on Wednesday, April 26, 2023, in the 1100 block of G Street, Southeast.
At approximately 1:30 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. One of the suspects assaulted the victim and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene.

At approximately 5:30 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim and entered the victim’s vehicle. The suspect then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.
On Wednesday, April 26, 2023, 19-year-old Joseph Forson, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Unarmed Carjacking.
