Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sexual Assault Unit seek the public’s assistance in identifying suspects in reference to a First-Degree Sexual Abuse and Robbery offense that occurred on Friday, August 5, 2022, in the 300 block of Florida Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 1:00 am, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. The suspects implied that they had a handgun but none were displayed. One of the suspects engaged in forced sexual acts with one of the victims. The suspects then took property from a second victim. The suspects then fled the scene.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in locating a vehicle in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, August 28, 2022, in the 1300 block of H Street, Northeast.
At approximately 12:08 am, members of the First District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A vehicle of interest, in this offense, is described as a white Toyota Camry. It was captured by a nearby surveillance camera and can be seen in the photo above.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects and a vehicle in reference to an Assault With Intent to Rob while Armed (Gun) offense that occurred on Sunday, August 28, 2022, in the 1000 block of H Street, Northeast.
At approximately 5:28 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects brandished handguns and attempted to rob the victim. During the robbery attempt, the suspects fired their handguns, striking the victim. The suspects fled the scene in a vehicle without obtaining any property. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to Armed Carjacking (Gun) offenses that occurred on Monday, August 29, 2022, in the First District.
– At approximately 11:06 pm, the suspect exited a vehicle and approached the victim in the 500 block of G Street, Southwest. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded property from the victim. The victim then fled the scene and the suspect fled the scene in a vehicle. CCN: 22124970
– At approximately 11:19 pm, the suspect exited a vehicle and approached the victim, while they were seated in a vehicle, in the 1300 block of Potomac Avenue, Southeast. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded the victim exit the vehicle. The victim complied and the suspect fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle. CCN: 22124976
On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, 18-year-old Jerome Israel, of Southeast, DC, and a 16-year-old juvenile male, of Northeast, DC, were arrested and charged with the above offenses.
