- Arrest Made and Additional Suspect Sought in a Robbery (Fear) Offense: 1500 Block of C Street, Southeast
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to a Robbery (Fear) offense that occurred on Friday, February 18, 2022, in the 1500 block of C Street, Southeast.
At approximately 4:30 pm, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. The suspects demanded the victim’s property and motioned as if to have a weapon. The victims complied and the suspects fled the scene.
On Friday, February 18, 2022, a 14 year-old juvenile male, of Southeast, DC, was arrested and charged with Robbery (Fear).

- Arrest Made in an Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery Offense: 100 Block of M Street, Southeast
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery Offense that occurred on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the 100 block of M Street, Southeast.
At approximately 8:42 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects assaulted the victim and demanded the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene without obtaining the victim’s property.
On Tuesday, February 22, 2022, a 14 year-old juvenile male, of Capitol Heights, Maryland was arrested and charged with Assault with Intent to Commit Robbery.
- Homicide: 1500 Block of North Capitol Street, Northeast
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, in the 1500 block of North Capitol Street, Northeast.
At approximately 3:39 pm, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, the members located an adult female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the victim to an area hospital, where despite all life-saving efforts, the victim was pronounced dead.
The decedent has been identified as 34 year-old Miana Luckett, of Southeast, DC.
- Armed Robbery – 1st and I St NW
The First District is investigating an armed robbery that occurred on 2/24 at approximately 2:35pm at 1st and I St NW. The victim reported that he was approached by two juvenile suspects, one who was armed with a gun. The suspects demanded the victims property. Taken were a cell phone, wallet and Air pods. The suspects were last seen fleeing on foot towards H St NW. No injuries were sustained.
The suspects were described as two Black Male juveniles. One was wearing all black clothing with a face mask. The second was wearing a gray sweater and black pants, armed with a gun.
- Armed Robbery – 16th and East Capitol St NE
The First District is investigating an armed robbery and theft stolen auto that occurred on 02/24 at approximately 2:05pm at 16th and East Capitol St NE. The victim reported that while outside of his vehicle, three vehicles pulled up and two suspects exited, both armed with guns. The victims vehicle was taken. No injuries were reported.
The suspects were described as two Black Males, 14 to 15 years of age, one was wearing a gray sweater with black pants.
- Suspects Sought in an Armed Robbery (Gun) Offense: 800 Block of 1st Street, Northwest
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating suspects in reference to an Armed Robbery (Gun) offense that occurred on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in the 800 block of 1st Street, Northwest.
At approximately 2:38 pm, the suspects approached the victim at the listed location. The suspects brandished a handgun and took the victim’s property. The suspects then fled the scene.

- Suspect Sought in an Armed Carjacking (Gun) Offense: 300 Block of I (Eye) Street, Northeast
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Carjacking Task Force seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Armed Carjacking (Gun) offense that occurred on Monday, February 21, 2022, in the 300 block of I (Eye) Street, Northeast.
At approximately 11:17 pm, the suspects approached the victim, who was seated in their vehicle, at the listed location. One of the suspects demanded the victim’s vehicle and had possession of what appeared to be a firearm. Another suspect approached the victim and brandished a firearm. The victim complied and the suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle.

- Arrest Made in a Burglary Two Offense: 1300 Block of 5th Street, Northeast
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to a Burglary Two offense that occurred on Thursday, February 24, 2022, in the 1800 block of 5th Street, Northeast.
At approximately 3:15 am, the suspect gained entry into an establishment at the listed location. Once inside, the suspect took property then fled the scene. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Thursday, February 24, 2022, 39 year-old Clinton Redmon, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Burglary Two.
