We couldn’t think of anything to send our photographer out for this week, so he had to reach back to some pictures he took a few years ago, on an outing on the Anacostia River. Along the way, he captured different wildlife, including this Cormorant. (RSP)
It is really good to see how the Anacostia has been cleaned up, allowing animals such as this turtle to make their homes there again. (RSP)
What this goose is up to here is anybody’s guess. (RSP)
But that this Osprey’s dive probably does not bode well for some fish is pretty clear. (RSP)
Not all wildlife is good, however, here’s a invasive snakehead that has been caught and will not be returned to the river, (RSP)
