We sent our photographer out to document what damage Ida had done to the Hill. He came back pretty much empty-handed. In contrast to so many places nearby, the rain, thunder and lightning seems to have done little to our neighborhood. Instead, the pictures are all of people enjoying a beautiful day outside. (RSP)
In particular, a lot of parents were taking advantage of the weather to take their kids out. (RSP)
Not just people were out and about, but animals as well. (RSP)
Eastern Market Metro Plaza looked inviting – certainly more so than when the heat is full on (RSP)
While a fair bit of work was going on, none was storm-related. (RSP)
Mainly, it looks as if the infrastructure, both old and new, held up to the onslaught. (RSP)
