2/12/21, Various locations (crimes happened in December):
- On Monday, December 21, 2020, at approximately 9:06 pm, the suspects approached the victim in the 600 block of 8th Street, Northeast. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and pointed it at the victim’s face while demanding the victim’s property. The suspects took the victim’s belongings and fled the scene. CCN: 20-180-287
- On Sunday, December 20, 2020, at approximately 10:00pm, the suspects approached the victim in the 900 block of G Street, Northeast. The suspects assaulted the victim, took the victim’s property, and fled the scene.

On Friday, February 12, 2021, 20 year-old Malik Jordan, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with the above offenses.
2/15/21, Unit Block of Massachusetts Ave. NE: Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Monday, February 15, 2021, in the unit block of Massachusetts Avenue, Northeast.
At approximately 10:19 am, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect assaulted the victim, brandished a knife, and then stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Monday, February 15, 2021, 26 year-old Charles Lee, of Yorba Linda, CA, was arrested and charged with Assaulted with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) and Aggravated Assault.
2/15/21, 1500 block of Gales Street, NE: Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect and a vehicle of interest in reference to an Attempted Armed Carjacking (Gun) Offense that occurred on Monday, February 15, 2021, in the 1500 block of Gales Street, Northeast.
At approximately 12:56 pm, suspects approached the victim’s vehicle at the listed location. One of the suspects brandished a handgun and demanded the victim to get out the vehicle. The suspects were unsuccessful in obtaining the victim’s vehicle. The suspects fled the scene in a dark colored SUV.

2/11/21, Unit block of K Street NE: Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch are investigating a homicide that occurred on Thursday, February 11, 2021, in the Unit block of K Street, Northeast.
At approximately 4:05 am, members of the First District responded to the listed location for the report of an unconscious person. Upon arrival, members located an adult male victim suffering from stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and after finding no signs consistent with life, the victim remained on the scene until being transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
The decedent’s identity is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
2/11/21, 1200 block of First Street NE: Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) offense that occurred on Thursday, February 11, 2021, in the 1200 block of First Street, Northeast.
At approximately 6:26 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
On Thursday, February 11, 2021, 44 year-old Ralph Graham, of Northeast, DC was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Knife) and Possession of a Prohibited Weapon.
2/10/21, Unit block of M Street NE: Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Fifth District announce arrests have been made in reference to a Robbery (Snatch) offense that occurred on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, in the Unit Block of M Street Northeast.
At approximately 9:45 pm, the suspects approached the victims at the listed location. One of the suspects snatched the victim’s property. Responding officers apprehended one of the suspects. The other suspect made good their escape but was apprehended the next day.
On Wednesday, February 10, 2021, a 16 year-old juvenile male, of Northwest, DC was arrested and charged with Robbery (Snatch) and on Thursday, February 11, 2021, a 14 year-old juvenile male of Northwest, DC, was also arrested and charged with Robbery (Snatch).
2/8/21, 1600 block of E Street NE: Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch have announced an arrest has been made in reference to a homicide that occurred on Monday, February 8, 2021, in the 1600 Block of E Street, Northeast.
At approximately 8:02 pm, members of the Fifth District responded to the listed location for the report of a domestic violence assault. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female victim, inside of a residence, unconscious and unresponsive, suffering from multiple stab wounds. DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and determined that the victim displayed no signs consistent with life. The victim remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. The suspect was apprehended by responding officers.
The decedent has been identified as 28-year-old Tiffany Hardy, of Northeast, DC.
On Monday, February 8, 2021, 41-year-old Ronald Miller, of Northeast, DC, was arrested and charged with First Degree Murder While Armed. The detectives’ investigation revealed that this offense was domestic in nature.
2/7/21, 400 block of M Street SE: Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District announce an arrest has been made in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault on a Police Officer offense that occurred on Sunday, February 7, 2021, in the 400 block of M Street, Southeast.
At approximately 3:55 pm, an on-duty Special Police Officer (SPO) received notification of the suspect attempting to steal items from an establishment at this listed location. When the SPO attempted to detain the suspect, the suspect brandished a glass bottle and struck the SPO. The suspect was subsequently apprehended by additional responding officers.
On Sunday, February 7, 2021, 50 year-old Kevin Leonard, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with Assault with a Dangerous Weapon and Assault on a Police Officer.
