Capitol Hill Village is pleased to sponsor a special program featuring Skip Thompson, a neighborhood financial advisor with Edward Jones, who will lead a discussion for members and interested Capitol Hill residents nearing the age when Social Security will be one of the major foundations of retirement income.

Before you retire, it’s important to understand your options regarding Social Security and the impact your decisions have on your retirement.“Social Security: Your Questions Answered” is a 15-minute presentation that discusses how Social Security fits into your retirement income plan, when you should start taking benefits, and tax considerations.  Following the presentation, there will be ample time for questions and further discussion on this topic and related issues.
