It’s not often that we get a press release from McDonald’s, but this is pretty cool. Considering we have many international travelers in our midst, it might be something you want to do– if you eat at McDonald’s, that is. This Thursday, June 6, from 2-5 p.m., you can pay with foreign currency because Mickey D’s is bringing favorites from around the world to make you fat to delight your tastebuds. Honestly, I might see if I have some leftover pesos and go try the Stroopwaffel McFlurry. Bring in any amount of foreign currency and try one of their four global tastes (see their descriptions below).
If you’re wondering where there is a McDonald’s near here, you can find them at 1635 Benning Road NE, one at 1535 Pennsylvania Avenue SE and one inside Union Station, at the eastern end of the boarding area. You’re welcome. Now, don’t ask me if all three are participating restaurants
