Despite sandwiches being traditionally thought of as exclusively lunch food, and despite the fact that most of the Capitol Hill-area vicinity does not have a huge office crowd, there are many spots that offer sandwiches –from great to meh. Here’s an attempt at a comprehensive directory of area spots with sandwiches (minimum 5 non-burger sandwiches, though an exception for any banh mi on the menu). How many have you tried?
