The Star and Shamrock announced via Facebook that they are closing after 10 years of operation. The space will pass on to Bullfrog Bagels, but the memories will always remain. The closure will be official after the weekend of February 15-17.

Just across the river, we have a wonderful ice rink. But when we have to choose between renovating it or making sure several schools have HVAC, it’s not fair to either facility. Schools are important, but recreation can be a lifeline for many. WAMU
