Hey, welcome back to the grind, kids! This Monday-feeling Tuesday got you down? How about a burger? Eater’s Essential 15 list recommends the Tune Inn’s patty melt and the Salt Line’s double patty and no-frills original in our neighborhood. We are totally adding the Valor Burger to this list while they update it. Eater DC

Should not paying your Metro fare be a crime? I get that it’s a hassle, but let’s just say that with this year’s homicide rate, we have bigger fish to fry than a couple of jerk kids turnstile-hopping, you know? Curbed

A great analysis by neighbor and THIH reader Mark Sussman on the near-demise of the dockless bike (we still have JUMPs). Greater Greater Washington

Renters, rejoice: Anita Bonds is fighting your fight for no sharp rent increases once your lease expires. (Does that also work retroactively for commercial tenants who get ousted from their Barracks Row location because of a horribly sharp rent increase, only to have that property sit vacant for years? Asking for a friend.) Urban Turf
