After running Capitol Hill Books with a deft and curmudgeonly hand for over 20 years, Jim Toole has turned the business over. In a post published today on Medium, the bookstore confirmed the transfer of ownership to Aaron Beckwith, Matt Wixon, Kyle Burk and Shantanu Malkar. Aaron has worked at the bookstore since 2004. Kyle Burk is the long-standing, sparking voice of Capitol Hill Books on Twitter (which, if you’re not following it, DO IT NOW).

As part of the long-standing Second Saturday wine and cheese tradition, help Beckwith, Wixon, Burk and Malkar celebrate their new purchase! There will be wine and cheese at the store this Saturday, July 14, from 4-7 p.m.
