Around DC:

Behold the Brave’s impressive, unforgettable sound combines Southern rock, blues, and psychedelic melodies. With classic rock influences such as The Stooges, Led Zeppelin, and The Who, you can be sure that this set will be powerful. Raspy vocals and fuzzy tones are this band’s signature. Run for Cover is an extremely unique show. Makeshift, single-performance bands made up of rockers in the community prepare for months for this show. These bands come out for a night of tributes and covers to benefit Girls Rock! DC. Girls Rock is a rock camp for girls aged 8-18. This camp, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, helps develop self-confidence and build a community through collaborative music. Black Cat will host Run for Cover 2017 on August 12. This event has sold out in past years, so get your tickets now!
