About the play:  The Iliad comes to life in this visceral modern-day retelling. Honoring the great tradition of epic poetry, the urgency of Homer’s classic bursts forth from a single narrator — Taffety Punk company member Esther Williamson — with live music by punk etherealists Hand Grenade Job. The story of Achilles’ rage and Hector’s passion lives on as a warning to us all of the perils of war and wrath. Wars end, but is there an end to war?
