Jan Van Haute, the former executive chef to the Belgian Ambassador, Belgian native and owner of Haute Saison Catering and Saison Wafel Bar will teach you how to incorporate Belgian beer into various authentic Beglian dishes and the heritage behind them. And then you get to eat your work! The class is $50 and begins at 6 pm. Register here.

Friday morning, bring the kids to the Rosedale Library (1701 Gales Street NE) for Reptiles Alive! Meet reptiles of all kinds and learn fun facts and stories about these creatures. The program begins at 11 am and is free.

Come meet Ward 6 Councilmember Charles Allen at the Hill East Community Office Hours at the Pretzel Bakery (257 15th St SE) from 8 am to 9:30am. Offer your helpful advice and insights to Councilmember Allen while picking up some pretzels for the office. Great way to start the weekend!
