It was the Day of the Dog at Congressional Cemetery on Saturday, which meant lots of dog-related activities and exhibits there. The Hill is Home was there, as well.

Port City brewing company was pouring tastes in front of John C. Calhoun‘s cenotaph. Don’t know how he would have felt about this. I can only hope that it annoyed him.

Rural Dog Rescue was there, along with a number of other rescue organizations. I hope that this sweet dog found a loving home. She deserves it.

The Hill is Home table was well-visited, lots of people knew of us, but lots also learned about us for the first time. To all those who did so, welcome!

It was also an opportunity to meet some folks we only knew through Twitter. Or, more importantly, their dogs.
