Touchstone Gallery – 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Join Touchstone Gallery for the opening of their November exhibitions:FotoWeekDC@Touchstone and “Seeing is believing” in Gallery A, Nature Sketched in Gallery B, and Handpicked: Works from Miriam’s Kitchen Studio Artists in Gallery C. For more information, click here.

Gallery OonH – 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Luis Peralta Del Valle presents Trouble Makers: The Struggle at Gallery OonH. Del Valle’s vibrant and colorful abstract paintings reflect the continuous endeavors of the oppressed. For more details, click here.

ReCreative Spaces – 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

In addition to viewing works by Michelle Izquierdo and Vanessa Smith, audience members will have the opportunity to interact with the duo via live painting and an “Art Making Station.”  For more information and to register, click here.

Saturday, November 7 

Fontana Forge – 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Fontana Forge will host their second annual fall open house. Guests will also have the opportunity to register for a basic blacksmithing class. For more information, click here.

CHAL – 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Visitors are invited to participate in CHAL’s Annual Small Works Art Sale. Shoppers can experience three-blocks of unique gifts for the holiday season. For details, click here.

Sunday, November 8 

Montpelier Arts Center – 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This November Montpelier Arts Center welcomes artists Caroline Thorington and Sushama Parikh in two concurrent exhibitions. Along with these solo shows they present a gratitude themed exhibition featuring the works of local artists. For more information, click here.

Gallery NK – 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Gallery NK hosts the closing reception and artist talk for Inspiration, the exhibition featuring the works of Claudia Cappelle and Richard Claraval. For more details, click here.

Mid City – 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
