The highlights include a vote to support the historic designation application of St. Paul’s AUMP Church at 4th and I Streets (and an interesting look at the history of the church), an overview and status report on the 11th Street Bridges project, a brief update on the CSX project, a proposal to close Half Street during all events at Nationals Stadium, a discussion about pedestrian safety and a promise from Tommy Wells’ office that he will help get a traffic study done on the area.
