In case you missed the ANC 6D meeting on Monday night, JD Land has a summary on her website detailing the agenda items that affect the Near Southeast neighborhood.  The highlights include a vote to support the historic designation application of St. Paul’s AUMP Church at 4th and I Streets (and an interesting look at the history of the church), an overview and status report on the 11th Street Bridges project, a brief update on the CSX project, a proposal to close Half Street during all events at Nationals Stadium, a discussion about pedestrian safety and a promise from Tommy Wells’ office that he will help get a traffic study done on the area.  Read all of the details here.

Tonight’s ANC 6B meeting starts at 7pm at The People’s Church, located at 535 8th, SE.  And on Thursday ANC 6A will meet at 7pm at Miner Elementary, 601 15th Street, NE.
