WPost's Scene In Hits H Street

They’ve covered Eastern Market and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, and now the Washington Post’s Alexandra Garcia has come to H Street to feature the many eclectic styles of the city for their “Scene In” video series.

Click through to watch the video at WashingtonPost.com (god forbid they allow us to embed it here…)

Thank God they did make me click through. Otherwise I would have missed the add for the Olive Garden. Who needs H Street when the Olive Garden beckons?

  2. Mmm Olive Garden, now that’s quality Italian food right there.

How dare the Post want to get credit and web traffic that generates ad revenue for their original content! I love blogs, but sometimes their total clueness and sense of entitlement boggles the mind. If you want an embeded story, why don’t you create your own content or at least lay off the snark for the people doing the work you link to?

  4. Their name is still on it and even when it is embedded, view-counts still register. Allowing us to embed it actually makes it more likely people will see the video since people are less likely to click through. They still have the ability to run ads when it is embedded. I threw in the snarky comment because they are one of the only news outlets to not allow their content to be shared. They are also the worst about linking back to the blogs when they pull content for their own use.
