RFK Stadium
Events DC will be hosting their quarterly meeting with RFK neighbors on Monday, July 13th at 7pm at RFK. The agenda includes the RFK stadium study. Events DC won’t be talking about the study at the meeting but they will be seeking input from neighbors on when to hold a community meeting in August or September to discuss it.
Vacant and Blighted Properties
ANC6B is compiling a list of vacant and blighted properties in the area. If you have one of these on your block, please let me know. The goal is to work with the city to clean up these properties.
Boys and Girls Club
The Department of General Services cancelled the city’s request for proposals for the Boys and Girls Club last week. No word yet on next steps.
Post-Foo Fighter Concert Clean-Up
Events DC hired Clean Decisions, an ANC6B10 based company, to help with post-Foo Fighter concert clean-up last week. Clean Decisions would like to hear from you about their efforts.
