Are you still hoping to tell Santa that what you really want for Christmas is an official Red Ryder, carbine action, two-hundred shot range model air rifle? Well you’ll get your chance to tell him yourself this weekend and next when he visits the Hill one last time before making his deliveries on the 25th.
Barracks Row Main Street will host Santa on Saturday, December 12 from 2 pm until 4 pm on the corner of 8th and G Streets SE. Since there is unlikely to be any snow for Santa’s sleigh, the DC Fire Department will bring Santa to his temporary workshop in a fire truck. Stop by for photos and enjoy some refreshments provided by Dunkin Donuts. Photographs, provided by Stuart Hovell Photography, will be available to download for free from BarracksRow.org.
Think he didn’t get the hint about what’s really on your wish list? Stop by Frager’s Hardware on Saturday the 19th or Sunday the 20th from 10 am to 3 pm. Santa will be out on the sidewalk, ready for pictures withall of the kids. And while you’re there, stop inside for some shopping – Frager’s is fully stocked with tons of your holiday decorating supplies!
