I remember when the first $1 million house was sold on the Hill, back in the 90s: it was quite breathtaking. These days, million-dollar homes are a dime a dozen, and it’s not uncommon to see prices in the mid $2 – $3 million range.
So what can you get on the Hill for, say, $2.5 million? A lot more than you can get in Georgetown, to be sure!
Take a look at 541 7th Street SE. Listed at $2, 495,000, it’s nearly 5000 square feet of pure fabulous. Developed by Ditto Residential (the developer who brought us the Edmonds School condos and many of our most high end renovated townhouses) in collaboration w/ acclaimed interior designer Darryl Carter. It has FIVE bedrooms, FIVE bathrooms and 2 half baths … which is a Good Thing because after you move in, everyone you know will want to come stay with you
Four levels with beautiful and unusual architectural details and the most high end finishes. Off-street parking? Yes. But no helicopter landing pad, unfortunately! See it on Sunday May 4th from 1-4 pm.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ON 12th Street SE we have one woman who constantly takes up two spaces. She has been called out for it (by me) and yet continues to do it. Here excuse? “If you park too close to the sign they ticket you.” Total idiot. So you cannot teach stupid. Unfortunately, she is just one of many offenders.
