Capitol Hill Village Featured on NPR

In part one of a four-part series on aging, this morning NPR featured local non-profit Capitol Hill Village.  Dedicated to helping our neighbors stay in their homes as they age, Capitol Hill Village offers a variety of services to its members, from help around the house like changing light bulbs or fixing computer problems to recommending pre-screened vendors for heftier jobs, some of which give discounts to CHV members.

Executive director Gail Kohn said they’ve already had a great response to this morning’s piece and encourages anyone who might benefit from their services (or if you know anyone who might) to visit their Membership page for more details.  “We are interested in the organization continuing to grow,” Kohn said.
