Far too often we hear about stolen bikes in the city. I’ve lost two at my house, and I’ve just tipped my toe back into bike ownership with a tune up at Capitol Hill Bikes. But for those of us who need a short term, super handy solution, I’m thrilled to refer you to the BID Blog. The BID announced yesterday that the SmartBike Program, sponsored by the DDOT and Mayor Fenty, has chosen the Hill as one of the 100 sites throughout the city to see new outposts in its latest efforts for expansion.
