Kathy Pugh

A native of Brooklyn, NY and long time Hill resident, Kathy Pugh is a running coach, author, and owner/founder of Kathy Pugh Running. In an effort to emerge from her own postpartum depression over 10 years ago, Kathy started running. Now a three-time Boston Marathon qualifier, she shares her passion for running and wellness through her More Than Miles Running Bootcamps for Women, her one-woman show Marathon Mama, and in her new book, More Than Miles: A Woman’s Guide to Running for the Body, Mind and Sole. When she’s not running around town, she can be found ‘fooling around’ as Feste at the Folger Shakespeare Library, ushering and attending local theater, or hanging out with her husband Drew, teenage daughter Ava, and their cat Vegas.

The cheering was fun—the running, not so much. Didn’t these people realize they could get to Central Park quicker by subway than by […]
