Hill Buzz

image uploaded by fazen on Flickr

I’ll be passing the Hill Buzz reins over to Nichole for the next two weeks while I head to Peru to hike the Inca Trail. I’m pretty confident that she will have you more than covered in terms of fun Hill-related reading material from around the internet!

  • If you use H Street Storage, you may want to go check on your belongings.  They apparently left roof work uncompleted when last week’s storms hit, and are refusing to compensate for destroyed items in customers’ storage lockers.  Frozen Tropics has the full account from one customer.
  • DC Mud reported on some historic homes that are being razed to make room for a surface parking lot.
  • SweetGreen posted some pictures of the progress of construction in their Capitol Hill location!  They are hoping to open in June.  I can taste the Sweetflow already!
  • According to JD Land, final designs for Canal Park will soon be available.
  • Pretty much everyone has shared this already but I’ll include it in case you somehow missed it.  Very strange Craigslist ad for someone looking for a roommate on Capitol Hill.  Sounds like someone has a very strange neighbor…
  • Norm Metzger has some updates on Friendship House.
  • Bitches who Brunch reviewed the brunch at Art and Soul.
  • Prince of Petworth has the scoop on another planned restaurant on H Street.
