Everyone loves to do a “best of” list, and Express Night Out is no exception. The voting for their Best of 2009 competition ends Friday, so click on through and vote for your favorite things in DC. You have over 100 categories to vote in, all organized into 5 sections: Food & Drink; Art & Entertainment; Stores & Styles; Sports & Recreation; and Home & Away.
And since we’re all about Hill love here, Id like to give a shout out to our local businesses that made the list… and nominate some who did not. Congratulations to the following Hill establishments that were nominated:

That’s a pretty decent showing, but with more than 100 categories I feel like a number of Hill spots were grossly overlooked. Capitol Hill wasn’t even listed as an option for best neighborhood! So I hereby bring you my write in campaign. Follow me after the jump for my top picks. These are just my top picks, and I know that you all are an opinionated bunch, so please let me know in the comments what your top picks are in the comments!
