The RFK redevelopment plan is headed to the DC Council for final, final approval. Urban Turf lists off what is included in the plan. And I’m telling you that H Street is not wide enough for a BRT but no one listens– just like no one listens when I say that what this city ALSO needs is more river crossings.
Tom Sietsema, now at the Washington Sun, recently did a roundup of great dishes for under $25 and Caruso’s Grocery made the list– specifically their Spaghetti and Meatballs. Seconded.
As a reminder, the Rumsey pool will close on October 1 for… a whole bunch of work. The building must be completely empty before work begins on draining the pool––and only then can the building be razed. It’s going to be a very involved and tricky project, since the pool is surrounded by a residential zone. More on a recent meeting about the project at the Hill Rag.
