Ever feel like you and your money aren’t on the same page? You know about budgets, you’re faithful to your 401(k), and you even balance your checkbook but still feel like there’s some barrier between you and a healthy relationship with your cash flow? Local counselor and life coach, Bonny King-Taylor, is hosting a workshop to help people better understand their relationship to their money by focusing on things like demystifying our emotional reactions to money, understanding the roots of our beliefs about money and uncovering the sources of cash-related stress.
King-Taylor has been coaching people through challenges in their personal and professional lives for many years now — you may have seen her most recently talking about relationships at Labyrinth’s singles-only game night just before Valentine’s Day. For this event, she’ll focus on helping you “develop a healthy and productive relationship with your money.” Sounds like a welcome change to the adversarial standoffs that sometimes result as the end of the month rolls around.
Located across from Eastern Market, the seminar takes place over two sessions starting May 13th from 6-9pm and finishing on May 14th from 9a-4p. For more information about what you can expect during the seminar, see the event page and sign up online before the May 11th deadline.
