If you enjoyed Hill and Go Seek, we’ve got another fun one for you: DC Hunt.
United Social Sports, who helped us organize and run our DC Blogger Skeeball Tournament last spring, is organizing a city-wide scavenger hunt that will take you through all four quadrants of our lovely city on a quest to solve clues and beat out other teams to the finish line. The prizes? Cold, hard cash.
It’s just $30 dollars to register and a percentage of the proceeds will go to the Capital Area Food Bank. You can also use the code “capblog” to get a $5-$10 discount, depending on how early you sign up.
When: Saturday, October 16. Check in between 11 am and 1 pm. The Hunt takes place from 1 pm until 3:30 pm, followed by an after party on the Mall.
Your Mission: Scurry around our Nations Capital on a hunt for forgotten places, off the wall items, and little known facts! The Hunt will test your ability to solve clues, crunch mind bending riddles and plot your game winning strategy as you go head to head with dozens hundreds, of other DC hunters!
Your Reward: After the Hunt you’ll be treated to an after-party that will be located smack dab in the middle of our Nation’s Capital. You’ll lounge in the shade of the Washington Monument as you enjoy cool music, free snacks & water, and if you snag a $10 Party Pack, a few cold brewskees for the adults! We’ll also have Cornhole boards and Bocce games set up so you and your friends can continue the fun! Hunt DC is an event everyone can enjoy!
