Momentum Dance Theater is forming classes for its 11th year of presenting the Jazz Hip Hop Nutcracker. A local tradition, its the same great show you may have seen before, but this year its freshened up with new music, choreography, dance styles, costumes and they’re even throwing in a new twist or two for the storyline. This is definitely not the same old Nutcracker.
The registration deadline for participants is this coming Monday, September 20th. Classes for students age 6-8 are about full, but there’s still space in the classes for 9-13 year-olds, which rehearse at Stuart Hobson Middle School (410 E Street, NE).
