Hey everyone! Hope you’re enjoying the milder weather, the gorgeous mornings and if you’re a parent, hope you’re enjoying their return to school (or that you’re not too crushed not to have your kiddos with you as much). What’s been going on around the Hill and beyond?

A warning from a NextDoor user (screen capture above): her purse was stolen while she sat outdoors at Le Pain Quotidien by a middle-aged man. Could be a one-off but keep your eyes peeled.

While it is true that predatory parking tickets should not be issued for parking in front of bus stops that no longer exist, the larger truth is that DDOT needs to get their signage a little more under control. It’s been over a year since the bus lines were restructured! WJLA

Last night’s meeting between Metro and neighbors around the RFK site was enlightening in terms of the new stadium’s transportation needs. Stadium-Armory can only handle a peak of 14,000 customers per hour at this point and 38,000 customers may be expected on game day. The stadium can seat upwards of 65,000 spectators. Y’all, I may be a broken record, but if only we had a light rail connecting Union Station to points east. WTOP
