Then and Now: Nathanael Greene

The cleanup that the National Park Service has been doing all across the city came to the Hill recently, with the refurbishment of the Nathanael Greene statue in Stanton Park being the beneficiary. While he desperately needed the repairs, he was in far better shape than many years ago, when the whole statue fell off its pedestal.

Looking good for the next 250 years! (RSP)

But it does give me the excuse to post a link to the story I wrote about that unfortunate event.
