Another month in the books–– hope your year has been going okay despite, you know…. everything. What’s fun to do this weekend?

On February 28, come out to Congressional Cemetery for the Reading of Names, a touching ceremony remembering the names of all who are resting in peace at the historic site. Click here to learn more and RSVP.

The Washington Bach Consort’s Noontime Cantata series is back at St. Mark’s Capitol Hill on March 2 at 12:10 p.m. For more information on the program, click here.

Come to Penn Social tomorrow, February 28, and visit a fun pop-up market. I will be there, reading the tarot! The market runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can check out more info here.

Celebrate Women’s History Month at the National Museum of Women in the arts! There is a whole slate of programming starting March 1 with a special Community Day. Check it out here.
Make sure to check out their latest exhibit, titled Making their Mark. The exhibit, lovingly curated from an important collection in San Francisco, juxtaposes established and emerging women artists and is a great experience. Check out a reel I made about it here.

Horizon of Khufu is a really cool VR experience in Downtown DC and I think you’re going to like it. I recently checked it out and it was fascinating– not just for learning about Egyptology, but because wow, VR has come a long way. Check it out here.

First Saturdays at the National Gallery of Art are always fun, especially if you have busy littles. Check out the schedule for this coming Saturday here.

At the Martin Luther King, Jr. Public Library, the DC Public Library in collaboration with Nikole Hannah-Jones and The New York Times Magazine, is opening a new exhibit through March 15: Freedom and Resistance is an exhibit inspired by The 1619 Project, and it feels timelier than ever. Learn more here.

On March 12, go to a special Master Class by author Nikki Payne on how to retell a well-known story while infusing it with a life all its own. This is a collaboration between the PEN/Faulkner Foundation and the DC Public Library. Click here to RSVP.
